The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing former Carolina Panthers standout running back Rico Dowdle to a two-year, $12.25 million deal, NFL Network reported Monday.

Dowdle led the Panthers with 1,076 yards rushing in 2025, giving him consecutive 1,000-yard seasons between Carolina and Dallas.

Former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd agreed to a three-year, $45 million deal with the Carolina Panthers, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.

The deal has $25 million guaranteed, according to the NFL Network.

Lloyd, 27, had the best season of his four-year career in 2025, finishing with five interceptions, one fumble recovery, seven pass breakups, 10 quarterback hits and 81 tackles.
