The Carolina Panthers and quarterback Kenny Pickett agreed to a one-year, $7.5 million deal that includes $4 million in guarantees, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.
Pickett, 27, was the Las Vegas Raiders ‘ backup behind starter Geno Smith last season. Pickett appeared in six games and made two starts. He totaled 188 passing yards, a touchdown and a pair of interceptions. Pickett had a completion rate of 62.2% and a QBR of 3.4.
