Former Philadelphia Eagles safety Reed Blankenship will sign with the Houston Texans on a three-year, $24.75 million deal, agent Kyle McCarthy of Athletes First said Monday.
The deal includes $16.5 million guaranteed.
Blankenship, an undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee State in 2022, went from long shot to steady contributor during his time in Philadelphia. He started four games as a rookie and held down that post for the next three seasons.
