Veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling has agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints, a source confirmed to ESPN on Monday.

His addition comes after the Saints lost wide receiver Rashid Shaheed underwent season-ending knee surgery last week.

Saints wide receiver Chris Olave also remains in the concussion protocol and missed last Thursday night’s loss to the Denver Broncos with the injury.

The New Orleans Saints will be without their top two wide receivers for Thursday night’s game against the Denver Broncos and former Saints coach Sean Payton.

Rashid Shaheed will undergo knee surgery Thursday in Los Angeles to repair his meniscus, while Chris Olave will miss the game due to a concussion he suffered last Sunday, Saints coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday.
