The Houston Texans on Tuesday waived wide receiver Diontae Johnson as they prepare for their divisional-round playoff game on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Broncos QB Nix played through back fractures

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix revealed Monday he played part of his rookie season with transverse process fractures in his back.

Nix, speaking to reporters Monday as players were cleaning out their lockers after the Broncos’ 31-7 wild-card playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, said he sustained the injury in the first half of a Nov. 24 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

NFL moves Vikings-Rams playoff tilt to Arizona

The NFL has moved Monday’s wild-card playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams to Arizona, it announced Thursday night, saying the decision was made in the interest of public safety as wildfires continue to ravage Southern California.

Rams starting WR Robinson charged with DUI

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson has been charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI, the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney told TMZ Sports on Thursday.

The charge comes after he was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Nov. 25 after the California Highway Patrol said that officers observed him driving more than 100 mph in a white Dodge sedan on US-101 northbound.

A news release at the time of the arrest said officers “observed objective signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment.”

Raiders fire GM Telesco days after firing Pierce

The Las Vegas Raiders have fired general manager Tom Telesco after one season, the team announced Thursday.

The move comes two days after the team fired coach Antonio Pierce after his first full season as the team’s coach.
