Former Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp has reached agreement on a three-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Friday.

Kupp was released by the Los Angeles Rams at the start of the new league year Wednesday, ending his eight-season run with the team.

He joined the Rams as a third-round pick in 2017 out of Eastern Washington, as part of Sean McVay’s first draft class, and emerged as one of the game’s best pass-catchers from the slot in the years since.

Running back Kareem Hunt is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million, a source told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on Friday.

He returns to a backfield led by Isiah Pacheco that also added former San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell this week.

Hunt, 29, joined the Chiefs for his second tour with the team early in the 2024 season after they placed Pacheco on the injured reserve list. Hunt led the Chiefs in rushing with 728 yards

Veteran wide receiver Patrick re-signs with Lions

The Detroit Lions have re-signed veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick, the team announced Friday.

Patrick, 31, was able to find a role within the Lions’ high-powered offense last season, finishing the 2024 season with 33 receptions for 394 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Patrick, who missed the 2022 and 2023 seasons with knee and Achilles injuries while with the Denver Broncos, was signed to Detroit’s practice squad in August before being signed to the active roster on Sept. 24 ahead of Week 4.

Free agent quarterback Gardner Minshew reached agreement Thursday on a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Minshew will replace Carson Wentz as Patrick Mahomes‘ backup with the Chiefs. Wentz is a free agent.

The Las Vegas Raiders released Minshew on Wednesday, one year after signing him to a two-year, $25 million contract.

The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to a one-year contract with veteran running back Raheem Mostert, a source confirmed to ESPN.

The Miami Dolphins released Mostert on Feb. 14, ending his three-season run with the franchise.

Mostert, 32, signed with Miami in 2022 and made the Pro Bowl after rushing for a career-high 1,012 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2023. The undrafted running back led the NFL with 21 total touchdowns during his Pro Bowl season.

Free agent guard Kevin Zeitler is signing a one-year, $9 million deal with the Tennessee Titans, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

It’s the second major addition to the Titans’ offensive line this week. On Monday, the Titans agreed to a four-year, $82 million deal with free agent left tackle Dan Moore Jr.

Zeitler joined the Detroit Lions as an unrestricted free agent on a one-year deal last offseason after experiencing a Pro Bowl season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023.
