Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam recently declined a request to meet with Myles Garrett amid the star pass rusher’s trade request, a league source confirmed to ESPN on Friday.

NFL Network first reported that Haslam declined Garrett’s request to meet and directed him to speak instead with general manager Andrew Berry, who oversees football operations.

A Browns spokesperson declined to comment.

The Cleveland Browns have once again restructured quarterback Deshaun Watson‘s contract, a source told ESPN’s Field Yates, clearing nearly $36 million in salary cap space that will make Cleveland cap compliant ahead of the new league year.

Before the restructuring of Watson’s deal Thursday morning, the Browns were about $22 million over the cap.
