FRISCO, Texas — Surrounded by family and friends, Dak Prescott was in a bad mood on April 30, 2016.
The NFL draft was entering Rounds 4-7 and Prescott was still available, despite a starry, productive quarterback career at Mississippi State that included leading the Bulldogs to their first No. 1 ranking in school history.
After the first two rounds went by, he wasn’t upset.
