The New York Giants addressed their need at cornerback Tuesday, agreeing with Greg Newsome II on a one-year deal worth up to $10 million, his agents told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Giants, who were active Monday on the opening day of the free agent negotiating period, faced questions at cornerback after Cor’Dale Flott, who spent his first four NFL seasons in New York, opted to join the Tennessee Titans.
